About
Mudgee Arts Precinct is a newly opened regional gallery funded by the Mid-Western Regional Council, Create NSW and the Federal Government’s Building Better Regions Fund. The $8.1 million facility opened in November 2021, quickly becoming the cultural centre for the region.

The state-of-the-art facility includes the new gallery space, community gallery spaces, a seminar room, café and the Cultural Workshops. It is also home to Mudgee Region Tourism, and their award-winning information centre. The new facility provides a hub to promote, nurture and facilitate participation in art, creativity and cultural activities.
Peripheral to these exhibitions is our public program which includes educational resources, artist's talks and creative demonstrations. The design of this parallel program is to support inventive artistic practice, educate community members and facilitate opportunities for inter-cultural collaboration/exchange. Through this outreach, the Gallery will position itself as a cultural hub, nurturing a diversity of creative ambition and artistic innovation.
MISSION STATMENT:
‘To enrich and engage the community through creative and cultural experiences that provide inspiration and delight, whilst expressing the many diverse stories and voices of our region; past, present and future’.
